STARS Celebration 2017 Registration

Students and faculty must register to attend the STARS Celebration. STARS academic liaisons may register their STARS students (names and email addresses of STARS student members required) or STARS student members may register themselves (name of STARS institution and contact info for academic liaison required). If you are not a member of STARS, but would like to attend, you are welcome to do so by completing the registration form; we will follow up with you for additional information.

Register Now to Attend STARS Celebration 2017

Conference Registration Deadline: August 31, 2017

Note: STARS members will not pay a registration fee to the STARS Celebration event, but are responsible for travel costs. If you are interested in attending the co-located Tapia Celebration, you must register and pay for that event separately.

STARS Celebration 2017 Travel Scholarships

STARS is awarding a limited number of travel scholarships to support student and faculty to attend the STARS Celebration. Applications are evaluated based on the merit of activities that help to broaden participation in computing as well as need. The STARS  Scholarships can be used to support transportation and lodging. A limited number of awards will pre-pay the conference registration fee for the Tapia conference in addition to providing support for transportation and lodging.

You can apply for the STARS Celebration 2017 Travel Scholarship when registering for the conference, or you can use the link below to complete an application without registering for the conference. Your application will require a brief personal statement describing your participation in efforts to broadening participation in computing, either through STARS or other activities.
